Pakistanis on Wednesday reacted with revulsion and anger to the "silencing" of investigative journalist Syed Saleem Shahzad, whose body was found days after he went missing in the wake of authoring a report that alleged al-Qaeda had infiltrated the Pakistan Navy.
'We are sorry, Mr Jinnah. We are sorry that we have not been able to actualise the Pakistan of your vision. At least, not yet,' reads a post dedicated to the Father of the Nation on a popular search engine.
Pakistan retained under-fire skipper Misbah-ul Haq and out-of-form Muhammad Hafeez, but dropped tall left-arm pacer Muhammad Irfan from the 28-man probables' list for the two-Test series against South Africa.
